No Blue Jays game is complete without hot dogs!

Back by popular demand, Loonie Dogs Night presented by Schneiders returns to Rogers Centre for every Tuesday home game of the 2025 season, with the exception of Canada Day (July 1). On Loonie Dogs Night presented by Schneiders, fans will have the opportunity to purchase $1 hot dogs from various concession stands around the ballpark. Don’t miss out on this hot dog of a deal!

Fans can also visit Schneider’s Porch again throughout 2025 featuring the famous Hot Dog Teeter Totter and Digital Hot Dog Counter. You’ve gotta be there!

Blue Jays fans, can we beat the record of 727,819 Loonie Dogs purchased in 2024?

RFD Summary

🎟️ While the $1 hot dogs are a popular draw, ticket prices for these games can be high due to demand.

🌭 Community members have mixed feelings about the hot dog quality; they are often small and made with mechanically separated chicken and beef.

🍎 Shoppers can bring their own outside food, including better hot dogs and desired toppings, to enhance the experience.

🚫 The offer is not available on Canada Day, and the hot dogs are sold only inside the venue.

🌱 A $1 vegetarian hot dog option is also available, though its specific location within the stadium can vary.

Can you buy these all game? Like if you want to have a hot dog every inning can you? Do they close this deal down? Do you have to buy extra hot dogs in like the 7th inning or anything?

That's 30 minutes away, I'll be there in 10.

I completed the 9 inning challenge on the last hot dog day. I am currently sitting here with gout, some of the worst pain i have ever experienced. Not saying 9 beers and 9 hot dogs caused it, but i'm sure it didn't help.

Going to avoid these based on the indigestion potential and the over 40 neverending desire for a 6 pack [Toronto Blue Jays] Toronto Blue Jays- $1 hot dog Tuesdays. Next one Aug 26 - RedFlagDeals.com Forums (5)

Schneider / maple leaf foods. A very Canadian company excludes cheap hot dogs on Canada Day?

You’d think they do it for cheap marketing and really boast how Canadian they are. Maybe make it 50cents.

I guess with their dominance in the meat market they don’t need extra press

No they are small little hotdog's. Basically like Schneiders red hots if you have ever had those. Hence why i could down 9 of them.

Rogers announced in September that it had agreed to purchase Bell's stake in MLSE for $4.7 billion. The purchase would double Rogers' stake in the company to 75 per cent, making the company the majority owner

Rogers just announced the approvals from the NHL, NBA, CFL, MLS and AHL for this acquisition.

I hope everyone realizes how bad the hot dogs have been over the years inside Rogers Centre. With the exception some of grilled ones that you'd have to pay extra for that include grilled onions and peppers, the hot dogs there are some of the worst I've tasted. The standard hot dogs are usually not as bad, but whenever they do these $1 promotions, Rogers Centre tends to pull out the cheaper mainly chicken wieners and just poorly boils them. I find them to be similar to Ikea's awful hot dogs that are sold near store exits.

like @computergeek541 said, free toppings at the venue are quite limited. However you can bring outside food. Mayo, guac, shredded cheese, bacon. Whatever you like to make your $1 hot dog much more palatable

They're $1. Not sure what you would expect for that price. Same reason they cost $2.50 for a pack in the grocery vs the $8 ones that Rogers Centre sells on non $1 days. For $1 they are not bad when you factor the price. You get what you pay for, in for 4 with a cold beer!

@computergeek541 Agree with what you said except I think you mean "steamed" instead of "boiled" (pretty much the same thing anyways). For me, I buy my loonie dogs from the footlong carts where they are prepared on the flatiron grill -- often these come out well done and more tasty than the ones at the regular concession stands (grilled on the rollers) or the mobile carts (likely steamed).
